According to the Department of Transportation, some 50,000 CDLs have been issued each month in 2021, 14% higher than the 2019 monthly average.

FMCSA granted operating authority to more than 92,000 motor carriers so far in 2021, a 60% increase over 2019.

In FY 2020, FMCSA and State enforcement initiated 951 audits in response to complaints against the carrier, a 152% increase over 2019.
