Truck drivers traveling on I-94 have been reportedly been targeted by shooters in two states, two days in a row.
Semi Shooting Reported In Battle Creek
One of the shootings occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14 in Battle Creek, Michigan.
According to Michigan State Police, a semi truck was traveling on eastbound I-94 near Exit 97 when a grey passenger vehicle passed the truck while illegally driving on the shoulder. While passing the truck, a person in the grey vehicle opened fire on the passenger door of the semi truck.
Police say that no one was hurt.

Milwaukee Shooting Temporarily Shuts Down I-94
A second shooting occurred on I-94 around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office closed all westbound lanes of I-94 for about two hours after there were reports of shots fired at a semi truck.
No injuries were reported and all lanes of I-94 have since reopened.
There is no evidence connecting the two shooting incidents.
Truckers are increasingly concerned about an uptick in highway violence amid civil unrest and protest activities in many parts of the country.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recently addressed the concerns about violence against truckers by offering guidance.
